Afternoon proceed for a 3 hours cycling tour of Cochin. After a short safety-briefing, you will start your cycling through the narrow lanes and spice markets moving towards Mattancherry. The architecture along the busy streets in this enclave is very clearly European, with fine houses built by wealthy British traders of the colonial era, and the Dutch cottages with split farmhouse doors. We have few surprise stops en-route which makes this a very exciting ride. After you reach Mattancherry, you will head to the Mattancherry Palace popularly known as the Dutch Palace, which features Kerala murals depicting Hindu temple-art, portraits and exhibits of the Rajas or erstwhile kings of Kochi and showcasing a blend of colonial and Kerala architecture. After visiting the Palace, you could stroll through Jew Street and visit the oldest active synagogue in the Commonwealth of Nations. Then, you resume cycling and move towards the Santa Cruz Basilica. This is a very attractive church constructed in the gothic style and was originally built by the Portuguese. From there you will pedal towards the Princess Street which has a quaint old-world charm to it. As you approach the end of the tour you arrive at the unique Chinese Fishing nets whose history and drama are remarkable. This tour is accompanying by an experienced Guide.

They whizz along the widest roads, and creep down the narrowest alleyways. So for a little bit of exploring the Keralan rural villages, the humble rickshaw becomes the chariot of choice.
Morning Proceed for a short TUK TUK ride. There will be a group safety briefing and a training ride to get used to the two-stroke peppy rides with help of our experienced team. The routes are carefully mapped out, the local interactive tasks are briefed– and the ride begins with toots of horns and hoots of laughter. Each rickshaw can seat up to 3 participants, the more daring may choose to drive, but it is not for the faint hearted. The route covers beach roads, fishermen villages and the backwaters. You will stop enroute the complete your tasks which would include learning to fish the local way, try out making the Kerala Appams ( traditional pancakes) and also joining in for a traditional Kerala meal on banana leaves.
